Defining a disrupter

How can we enable the outdoor office? What does working outside look like when you work a desk job? The design team at Landscape Forms was ready to launch a product unlike anything else in the company’s storied history. Long known for beautifully designed, high quality outdoor furniture and lighting for public spaces, the GO OutdoorTable represented a merging of capabilities and purpose. The table was developed as a table for corporate and education clients seeking to create outdoor working environments through its myriad features - solar panels, outdoor UL-rated charging ports for phones or laptops, overhead canopy with lighting.

We on the marketing team were tasked with coming up with the copy needed for all of the product launch materials. Typically, copy was outsourced to an external copywriter, and the marketing team would revise and approve. The marketing leadership felt that since GO was more complicated, a true disrupter, that in needed in-house attention. I was awarded the chance to develop this copy and to this day, this has been one of the most exciting projects I have worked on.
